This app is a sim-racing lap tracker with a social feed. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your choices. Contact: hello@getoutlap.com.

1. Data we collect

• Account — email address and a chosen display name (handle). Authentication is handled by Supabase; passwords are stored hashed by Supabase and are never visible to us.
• Racing data — lap times, sectors, car/track/game, setup and telemetry you record or import from SimHub.
• Health & fitness — if you use the Apple Watch companion, your heart rate and wrist-motion readings during a session, used only to display in-app telemetry and driving-calmness coaching. This data is never used for advertising and is not shared with third parties for their own purposes.
• User content — feed posts, comments, likes, reposts, profile info, avatar, clubs, and optional data you add (e.g. bets, shared expenses, calendar events).
• Moderation data — reports you submit and users you block.
• Usage analytics — screens viewed, an anonymous session id, and device type, to understand feature usage and improve the app.
• Push tokens — if you enable notifications, a device push token via OneSignal.

We do not collect precise GPS location, and we do not use third-party advertising or ad-tracking networks.

2. How we use it

• Provide the core features: lap tracking, rankings, social feed, clubs, notifications.
• Sync your data across devices and back it up.
• Keep the community safe (handling reports, enforcing rules).
• Improve the app based on aggregated usage.

3. Service providers (processors)

• Supabase — database, authentication, storage (hosted in the EU / Ireland).
• Cloudflare R2 — telemetry files and server-side backups.
• OneSignal — push notification delivery.
• Netlify — app hosting/CDN.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

4. Retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account in the app, or via our account-deletion page. On deletion, your profile and personal content are removed; a short-lived backup snapshot may be retained for up to 30 days for abuse/recovery purposes, then permanently deleted. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be retained.

5. Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR in the EU), you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data. Email hello@getoutlap.com.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to production data is restricted, and privileged operations run server-side. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.

Jakie dane

• Konto — email i wybrany nick. Uwierzytelnianie: Supabase; hasła przechowywane w postaci zahaszowanej, my ich nie widzimy.
• Dane wyścigowe — czasy okrążeń, sektory, auto/tor/gra, setupy i telemetria (m.in. z SimHub).
• Zdrowie i aktywność — jeśli używasz aplikacji na Apple Watch: tętno i ruch nadgarstka podczas sesji, wyłącznie do pokazania telemetrii i wskazówek dot. opanowania jazdy. Nie używamy tego do reklam ani nie udostępniamy stronom trzecim do ich celów.
• Treści — wpisy, komentarze, polubienia, profil, awatar, kluby oraz opcjonalne dane (zakłady, wydatki, kalendarz).
• Moderacja — Twoje zgłoszenia i zablokowani użytkownicy.
• Analityka — oglądane ekrany, anonimowy id sesji, typ urządzenia.
• Push — token powiadomień (OneSignal), jeśli włączysz.

Nie zbieramy dokładnej lokalizacji GPS ani nie używamy sieci reklamowych.

Podmioty przetwarzające

Supabase (baza/logowanie/storage, UE-Irlandia), Cloudflare R2 (telemetria/backup), OneSignal (push), Netlify (hosting).

Przechowywanie i usuwanie

Dane trzymamy dopóki konto jest aktywne. Możesz usunąć konto w apce (Ustawienia → Konto) lub przez stronę usuwania konta. Po usunięciu profil i treści są kasowane; kopia zapasowa może być trzymana do 30 dni (nadużycia/odzysk), potem trwale usuwana.
